James Alt is a Lapeer Michigan based artist, performer and community development director. When he's not working for the Lapeer Main Street DDA, James Alt spends his time working toward the preservation of the art of magic, studying its history and its secrets.  James is a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and has performed for national organizations like The Arthritis Foundation, Rotary International, and Kiwanis. He has was the official in-house magician for the Holiday Inn, Pittsburgh, and performs regularly for the Metamora historical society.  James Alt style of magic is old fashion, but has a creative twist that will please all audiences.
